NORMAL SERVICE POSITION
The picture to the right and below shows the water
softener in the normal Service position i.e.
INLET VALVE: This valve is Open when the blue handle is in
line with the hoses.
OUTLET VALVE: This valve is Open when the blue handle is
in line with the hose.
BYPASS VALVE: This valve is Closed when either a Black
handle or Screwdriver slot is at 90° to the pipe
BYPASSING YOUR WATER SOFTENER
INLET VALVE: Turn blue handle 90° so it closes the flow of water through this valve.
OUTLET VALVE: Turn blue handle 90° so it closes the flow of water through this valve.
BYPASS VALVE: Turn Black handle or Screwdriver slot 90° so that it is now in line with
the pipe. This will then open this valve and allow water through to your system.
BYPASSING YOUR WATER SOFTENER WITH RAPID-FIT BYPASS
UNIT IN SERVICE:
To place Rapid-Fit bypass into Service, push central plunger in direction of Service arrow.
UNIT IN BYPASS:
To place Rapid-Fit bypass into Bypass, push central plunger in direction of Bypass arrow
